Head Engineering acts as an EPC partner for process plants, delivering complete installations including process equipment, utilities, electrical and automation systems. Civil works and buildings are typically handled by others, while we provide the necessary technical input and interface data to ensure that foundations, structures and buildings are fully adapted to the process plant.

Our EPC scope covers detailed engineering, procurement, manufacturing follow-up, delivery, installation, cold and hot commissioning, operator training, start-up and performance testing. We execute both greenfield and brownfield projects and have extensive experience delivering international projects in collaboration with local contractors and client organisations.

EPC deliveries are a key part of our offering for PINOLA tall oil plants and VisPro-based explosives plants, as well as for other chemical and process industry installations. In these projects, we combine multidisciplinary engineering, project management and automation with clear responsibility for the process scope, providing our clients with a single point of contact from design through to performance testing.
