Head Engineering supports the explosives industry with modern, highly automated process plants for TNT and RDX/HMX. Building on more than 40 years of experience from complex process industries and a dedicated explosives team, we design and deliver production facilities that combine efficiency, product quality and safety.
Our explosives business is organised under the VISPRO brand. Under VISPRO we offer complete plant concepts for both TNT and RDX/HMX – from process design and engineering through automation, commissioning and operator training. For RDX/HMX this includes the VISPRO combination plant, based on a Bachmann-type process with proprietary recrystallisation technology that enables advanced control of product purity, crystal quality and particle-size distribution.
Safety, export control and regulatory compliance are integral to everything we do. Head Engineering operates under Swedish export-control regulations and holds the necessary permits to design and supply production equipment for military explosives.
